Customer Success Manager

Due to strong market traction in Europe and the US we are now looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic Customer Success Manager to help our enterprise customers – some of the largest dairy companies in the world – to maximise business value from the OptaHaul product.

The Customer Success Manager will build relationships with our key customers and become an integral part of their success by bringing value to every interaction – from onboarding to renewal. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving, technical skills and project management. Working directly with enterprise customers, the Customer Success Manager is responsible for advocating customer needs internally to ensure company decisions always take into account the voice of the customer.

This is a permanent role based out of our Mullingar HQ with remote working flexibility as required. As a part of the first group of hires the successful candidate will report directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will have significant opportunity to shape the future of the Customer Success function in OptaHaul.


Build relationships with customers and gain an understanding of their needs, ensuring they gain maximum value from the OptaHaul platform
Work closely with OptaHaul’s product and engineering teams to provide solutions to solve real life customer challenges
Onboard and train new customers
Perform ongoing analysis of customer engagement and takes the necessary steps to increase product usage and adoption
Develop customer relationships through collaboration with OptaHaul’s sales team
Coach customers to be OptaHaul product experts and evangelists
Identify common customer challenges and pro-actively suggest feature enhancements
Support OptaHaul sales with customer renewals and expansion opportunities
Identify opportunities for customers to act as OptaHaul advocates (e.g. testimonials, case studies)

At least 2 years of customer success experience, preferably within a SaaS organisation
Third level degree
Experience working in a startup
Strong track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing long-term solutions
Experience designing and improving business and customer processes
Experience in a customer support role would be an advantage
Project management skills and qualification, ideally experience with agile
Full and clean valid drivers licence
Right to work and travel freely within Ireland, EU & UK
Ability to travel to the US as needed
